The intercom and joystick are fitted in the armrest of the chair. In case of a malfunction you can reach the help desk with the intercom. We will then check your stairlift remotely and provide you with a solution immediately. VoIP is standard available on all stairlifts with serial number UP000275 and above.
The slim design is a major advantage of the UP stairlift. It ensures that when the stairlift is not used and the armrests, the footrest and the chair are folded in, there is enough space to use the stairs on foot.
The stairlift is usually operated with the joystick on the armrest. As it can happen that different people use the stairlift, the stairlift might be upstairs while you are not or vice versa. This requires a remote control to operate the stair lift down or up again. Besides a remote control, we also offer an app with which you can easily operate your stair lift remotely.
Our stairlift brings you a lot of comfort, for example you don’t have to bend over to unfold the footrest. This happens automatically after you lower the armrests. The chair also turns automatically toward the hallway, so that you can safely get on or off the seat.
The hinge rail folds back automatically after use, in this way your stairlift can be placed next to a door without blocking it.
The UP stairlift is packed together with the rail pieces.
With other stair lifts, the bend pieces are often already welded to the straight rail pieces. This ensures that the rail must be transported separately. Due to the modular nature of the UP stairlift, the rail can be assembled on site and can therefore be transported in one box with the rest of the stairlift. This takes up considerably less space, which results in lower transport and storage costs. As a result, it’s less harmful to the environment.
