UP Stairlift Straight – available now!
The UP Stairlift Straight is available now! All features – such as intercom, automatic swivel chair top and bottom, WiFi and automatic footrest – that you have on the curved stairlift are also included on the straight stairlift. Moreover, all parts except the motor itself are fully interchangeable between the curved and straight stairlift. The UP Stairlift is one of a kind.

Magnetic keyswitch now available
The joystick on the armrest of the UP Stairlift is also available with a magnetic key to prevent improper use. The lift will then only work when the magnetic key is on the joystick (to be ordered in the UP Webshop with article number UP000128).

EN81-40:2020 certified
Ready and approved! From April 15, 2023, all stairlifts must comply with the new European EN81-40:2020 regulations. The good news is that the UP Stairlift already complies with these new regulations for a year.
This means all of our UP Stairlifts meet the following requirements:

Besides EN81-40:2020 the UP Stairlift also complies with the Canadian and American regulations (CSA ASME).

New software version on all new UP Stairlifts
With our experience of the last two years and the feedback from our dealers, we have optimized the software to improve the installation process and performance of the UP Stairlift. As part of this new software we have optimized the configuration app as well. All stairlifts delivered from 6-9-2021, are compatible with version 10 of the configuration app. The new app comes with an improved user exerperience, safety optimization, multiple languages and registration button.

Finalist 9th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards
We are a proud finalist with our UP Stairlift in the category ‘Innovation of the year – Product’ for best product implementation that demonstrates improvement in quality of life for older adults. The virtual judging will take place from 5 – 7 Oct 2021 in conjunction with the World Ageing Festival (Hybrid Edition) that will be happening from 1 – 20 October this year. Over 170 speakers will be presenting from 35 countries. The Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards continue to recognise and honour organisations that commit to improving the quality of life, care and happiness for our elders through their innovations in business, operations and care delivery. This year a total of over 200 entry submissions has been received and we made it to the finalist round of the OSCARS of the eldercare industry!

The new and improved configurator app is available for all new UP stairlifts with number UP-000431 and higher! The new app comes with improved visual identity and intuitive usability, easier manual rail import, simplified WiFi connection set-up and stable VoIP connection.

UP stairlifts are on their way to the USA. Fully loaded containers will arrive in the USA soon. You can already reserve and order your units by visiting the website of UP Stairlift USA. Scaling UP the production as we speak so more shipments to come in 2021!

UP Stairlift is expanding
To serve you even better and continue to meet the rising demand, UP Stairlift is expanding with a new and larger production facility. This will make it possible to produce up to 5.000 stairlifts a year. The first stairlifts are rolling from the belt as we speak.

Of course, our ambitions did not stop with an innovative rail. The UP Stairlift also keeps us informed of its current status through WiFi. In this way you’re assured of trouble-free functionality and if there should be a problem, you can contact us with the intercom. After which we will find a solution quickly. Our stairlift are standard fitted with an automatically rotating seat, so you can always get on and off the seat safe and easy. Also, you no longer have to bend over to fold the footrest, after the armrests have been lowered, the footrest folds open automatically. DeVi-Stairlifts B.V. sets the new standard in reusability and comfort with its UP Stairlift.

Dutch Design Week 2019
The UP Stairlift has been awarded a GIO (Good Industrial Design) recognition and has thereby won the Excellence Functionality Award at the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven. In addition, the UP Stairlift became second for the public award at Dutch Design Week 2019!

The UP Stairlift
The UP Stairlift puts an end to rail waste. The rail is made from aluminum instead of steel, which is a light and durable material. Unlike other modular stairlift concepts, which sometimes require 150 different elements, the rail of our UP stairlift consists of only 2 parts: straight profiles and our patented bend segments. The patented bend segments are easy to connect to each other and can thus form every conceivable bend. The straight profiles are easily cut to size and then provided with the required bend segments to give the desired shape to the rail. Because no bending, welding or coating is needed, our rail can also be easily adapted to new rail shapes, so that our stairlift can be relocated without intervention of production operations.

Introduction at Rehacare
At the RehaCare fair in Düsseldorf it was finally time; the official international introduction of the UP Stairlift. Thanks to all visitors and the many positive feedback we have received. We look forward to the future.

The UP Stairlift
After more than 20 years of hatching on the ideal stairlift, in 2018 DeVi Stairlifts B.V. launched the UP Stairlift. Founder Dennis Vroegindeweij started in 1996 as a product developer at a leading Dutch stairlift manufacturer. He has now been active for 12 years with the DeVi-Comfort B.V, which develops mechatronic products for new and often revolutionary applications in industry and healthcare sectors. During this period Dennis has never lost his interest in stairlifts and now he comes up with a new perspective on stairlifts. The first stairlifts were built around 1930 in America and consisted of a steel rail with a chair attached to it. Now 90 years later, steel is still the most used material for stairlift rails. Unfortunately, the rail is the part that can hardly be reused. This is because all stairs differ slightly. In addition, the steel rail is an expensive and complex part of the stairlift. We found a solution!
